I used to be a math grad student, then I got diagnosed with schizophrenia. I recovered a bit while working a for-profit tech worker, then a non-profit tech worker. Then I got PTSD. So now I am a musician and something of a bum. My inspiration is "what if Thelonious Monk lived a life like Diogenes the Cynic?"
I play under an alias so I can write songs about mental health and employers and love interests without getting too much blowback (not that the songs have lyrics). In fact: noooobody knows my real identity, ooooh, spooky :) I do some other more overtly Diogenesian stuff under my real name... but oooOOOoooo, what could that real name be?
